Colourpop Yes,Please Pressed Powder eye shadow Palette : Review

Today I am going to talk about the best seller pressed eyeshadow palette from Colourpop Cosmetics.I love their lippies and was eager to try their shadows.I have the   weekend warrior palette which is pure LOVE.I  decided to give this warm palette a try so I ordered it from the Colourpop’s website.This palette has really great review so I also got intrigued to buy this.I ordered this Palette is Aug and it never delivered .Colourpop told me it is lost in transit and I have two options ; refund or courtesy replacement.Courtesy replacement means that they will ship the product one last time and if it is lost again no refund will be given.I opted for courtesy replacement and just prayed and prayed.Many of you must be thinking why I did not go for refund??This is how crazy I am.It arrived today and I jumped and danced 🙂 I was never so happy for any makeup courier before.Lets get into the review now.

Price : 16 $ .I paid 11$( Got a 5 $ coupon) plus 9.99$ shipping = 20.99 $ (Rs1356).You can get in India from insta stores for  Rs 1600 to 1900 depends from where you buy.

Product claims :

PRESSED POWDER SHADOW Highly pigmented shadow that applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. This long wearing formula contains a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.

The original fixed 12 pan palette is all about that golden hour glow – the hottest shades inspired by our fave time of the day.

My Thoughts about the Colourpop Yes Please pressed eyeshadow palette

Packaging : It comes in a bright yellow colour outer cardboard packaging.The palette is white in colour with a matte cardboard packaging.The palette is palm sized and good for travelling.It does not have a mirror  and brush so it is light weight and sleek.One thing I do not like about the packaging is that it can easily get stains from the eye shadow which looks dirty.

Pigmentation and texture : All the eye shadows are pigmented and one swipe is enough to get the maximum payoff.Some of the shadows are really powdery.I found Big cocktails very powdery and it has lot of kick back.All mattes and shimmers are easy to blend.The texture is smooth and buttery.Shimmers look stunning and duochromes are amazing.The colour are wisely selected.I really love the colour scheme of the palette it can be used to create all type of looks.

Staying power : The shadows are really long lasting .They stays for 8 to 10 hours without primer and with primer the lasting power can be incredible.I used it with some concealer on my eyelids as a base.They do not  crease on me.

 Shades :It as 8 matte and 4 shimmer eye shadows.I personally love the palettes with more matte shades.The shades range from coppers,red,orange and burgundy.Perfect palette for warm tone lovers.

Overall Thoughts

I really like the colours in the palette.The texture is smooth and buttery.I liked  Carli Bybel Palette’s packaging more than this.Both palette are in the same price category but BH Cosmetics won the packaging game totally.I absolutely love this palette for its colours and formula.If you are a lover of warm tones,this palette is  a must in your kitty.
