Colourpop Ultra Glossy lip Moon Child : Review and swatches

hey everyone,

Today I am going to talk about Colourpop again but this time I will talk about their gloss formula. This is my first ultra gloss purchase from Colourpop.I have not purchased any gloss since a long time and glosses are making a comeback so I thought why not try this.It is a collab product by Kathleen Lights. She is my favourite and her collabs are always talk of the town.So without much rambling lets begins .

Product claims :

High shine gloss with medium-coverage, crème finish in a moisturizing and non-sticky, comfortable formula.

Stay wild in this pinky nude with gold glitter

Price : 6 USD .I got it for 550 plus shipping

My thoughts about Colourpop Ultra Gloss Moonchild

It comes in  a pale pink outer cardboard packaging .It has  stars printed all over the box which looks stunning. The actual product comes in a transparent bottle with golden cap with star printed at the neck of the bottle. It has kathleen’s name also written at the outer as well as inner packaging. Moonchild is pale pink gloss and it has golden specks of glitter. The shade is too pale for me if applied alone but with a nude lip liner underneath it works fine.It is a perfect nude for very fair to fair skin girls.Medium to deep skins can make it work by applying a nude liner of their choice. The formula is light weight and non sticky .The glitters are smooth and non gritty. The pigmentation is decent for a nude gloss. It stays for 2 hours or so then it needs to be reapplied. The staying power is decent as it is a gloss and touch ups the always needed. It is a beautiful nude for fair girls but I will not recommend it to Indian medium skin girls like me.

Overall I enjoy the formula of the gloss and it is a nice product to have.Kathleen nailed it with the colour ,formula and packaging.

Thanks for reading
