NYX Born to Glow Dupe Miss Claire Born to Glow Illuminator base Gleam – Review and swatch

Hey everyone,

Today I am going to talk about very affordable liquid illuminator from Miss Claire. It is  a perfect copy of NYX Born to Glow liquid illuminator in terms of packaging ,shades etc.I got mine a few months ago and I totally to forget to review it.It is supposed to be mixed with foundation or applied directly on high points of the face.Read on to know more about this.

Price : Rs  300 to 500 depends from where you buy.I purchased it from an Insta store for 350

Product Claims : Light weight liquid illuminator that gives skin a refreshed glow and beautiful highlight.

Available in 6 shades.

My Thoughts about Miss Claire Born to Glow Illuminator Makeup Base

It comes in plastic tube with a nozzlee covered with a black cap.I have no issues with the packaging but NYX may have because it 100% copied. It is convenient to use and travel friendly. I have this in the shade Gleam.Gleam is a rose gold shade which when blended does not look too rose gold.It blends into the skin and only pinkish shine is left obviously a little goes a long way.Actually I wanted to order Shiny beige shade but it was out of stock so I picked this one.I will say I am not very happy with this shade. The formula is light weight easy to blend and does not feel heavy or something.I never mixed it with the foundation but I have applied it on my cheekbones and bridge of the nose.I can see some glitters after blending it which I do not like at all.Glitters are not very chunky but are more visible in artificial light.I do not have any other problem with this product except the glitters visible. If you want a subtle highlight ,you will be disappointed with this product.I am not a big fan of this product firstly because the shade which I got secondly it has glitters which become more prominent in artificial lights. If the shade was something complimenting my skin tone I would have make it work some how.

Overall,I will say I am not a huge fan of this product. The glow is not natural but glittery.I will suggest to buy shade which will compliment your skin tone if you really wanna try this. This colour on the cheekbones does not look flattering at all.The shade actually looks darker than my skin tone hence defeating the purpose of highlighting.

Blended with fingers( in artificial light)

Finally I will say  this product is a dupe of NYX liquid illuminators in product idea and packaging but they are not formula dupes. It looks pretty in the swatches but not so pretty in the face.I hope I have purchased beige shade .

Miss Claire Pearl Eyeliner 7 Brown : Review and Swatches

Hey everyone,

I hope you all are good.Thank you for visiting to my little space .I am going to talk about very affordable coloured eyeliner from the brand Miss Claire.Miss Claire is available on Amazon,,local stores in Delhi and Mumbai and on Insta stores.I got mine from an insta store.I found that the prices of Miss Claire products are best on Insta Stores.Lets begin with the review.

Price :The prices vary from Rs 150 to 300  for 5 grams of product. Rs 150 Buy here

Shades : Available in 16 shades ,some shades are matte also.

My thoughts about Miss Claire Pearl Eyeliner

Packaging : It comes in a tiny transparent plastic bottle with a long cap with brush attached to the cap.The brush is fine and it is easy to apply a thin line with it.I love that cap is long enough to hold it properly. The bottle is light weight and travel friendly. There are no chances of bottle breaking or spilling while you are on the go.The shade name is mentioned on a sticker attached to the cap and colour code is mentioned at the bottom of the bottle.

Texture and finish : These liner are not glittery at all. They have a beautiful shine which looks even more stunning in artificial light.I think that is why they have named it pearl eyeliner .Actually I was expecting a glitter liner but I like this finish also. The texture is medium easy to spread. It dries out quickly.I feel a little burning sensation when it get inside my eyes  which goes away after some time but on the lids they are comfortable.

Staying Power : I applied it twice and it stayed through out the function.I have to remove these after coming back. They are easy to remove as well.I wore it for 4 to 5 hours maximum.Never tested it more than 5 hours. The finish was same even after 5 hours of wear.DSC03811

Shade : 7 Brown is a stunning bronze shade with pearly sheen to it.I paired it with a black eyeliner it looks stunning. It is a nice shade for fair to medium girls.I will definitely grab more shades.I am eyeing on 16 and gold shade ( donno number)

  • Ultra affordable
  • Beautiful finish
  • Various shades
  • Easily Available
  • Good staying power
  • No chunky glitters

  • None

    Overall Thoughts

I think these are best and affordable coloured eyeliners available in India. These have various interesting shades such as red, green, pink etc.I think beginners will love this product as it is light on the pocket and high on quality.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer 20 Sand Sable : Review

Hey everybody ,

Today I am going to talk about the most raved concealer in the blogging community.I finished two pens of my Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting concealer and I thought I should try some other concealer. I ordered the Fit Me concealer and foundation recently. Maybelline Fit Me range is a huge hit in India as well as abroad so I had to try these out. Here are my thoughts about the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in the shade sand sable.

Price :Rs 525 for 6.8 ml .Buy here on discounted price

Product Claims : Skin looks perfected with this natural coverage concealer for zero flaws and blemishes.

It is available in the shades Light,Sand and Medium on Maybelline India’s website but recently it is launched in the shade Cafe on

Review Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand Sable

Maybelline Fit Me concealer comes in plastic transparent tube. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. It comes with a doe foot applicator which makes the job of concealer easy peesy. All the details, price, expiry etc are mentioned on a sticker which I personally don’t like because if the sticker is peeled off you will left with no idea when the product is going to expire. The concealer is medium creamy consistency and blends easily. It is neither too thick nor thin.It is not like those concealers with whom you have to be quick other wise they start to set.It gives medium coverage and looks really natural on the skin.It never looked cakey or unnatural on the skin.I don’t have very oily skin so none of the concealers crease on me.It don’t even dry out my  already dry skin which I love I set it with some compact it never crease .It stays for about 6 to 8 hours on me with a couple of touch ups.Now coming to the shade sand sable ,it is a yellow toned beige sought of colour very good for highlighting for medium to fair skins Indians but if you have heavy under eye bags I will suggest to use an orange corrector or a high coverage concealer matching your skin tone or go with medium shade in Fit Me .I purchased it for highlighting purpose and it served the purpose really well.I am blessed with no major under eye issues so I can use it alone with foundation and it works well for me.

DSC03781DSC03782DSC03783                                                  Overall Thoughts

I think  it is good budget friendly concealer with decent amount of coverage but if you have heavy under eye circles it will not gonna cover that.It is available in shades to cater all skin tones. But if you have wrinkles and fine lines it can crease .The shade sand sable is a good highlighting concealer for Indians. It is nice option for beginners and young girls.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Acid Brights Palette : Review & Swatches

Hey everyone,

Today I am going to talk about another palette from Makeup Revolution London. This is my third palette from the brand and many more are in my wish list. These are very affordable and specially when on discount. The only reason to purchase this palette was the presence of purple, orange and berry toned magenta shades in the palette.Ever since the launch of Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette orange and magenta colors are so much in trend. As ABH palette is really expensive in India so I am always in search of palettes with similar colors. This palette has many neon shades which I am not going to use, some of you might use them but I am not courageous enough to wear such colors. Still I bought it because it was on discount and except 2 or 3 colors all colors can be used.

Price Rs 1200 .I got it for Rs 450 from an insta seller.

DSC03633DSC03626DSC03628My thoughts about Acid Bright Palette

The product comes in a sleek bar type palette. The brand name is printed in the front of the palette. The packaging is travel friendly and it has all the details and ingredients of the product at the back of the palette. It comes with a dual ended sponge tip applicator. It contains 12  eye shadows  both in matte and metallic finish. These eye shadows are perfect for creating  bold, bright and sultry smokey looks.  The eye shadows do not have any names. All shades are soft and smooth and can be easily worked on and blended. It is advisable to apply eye shadow primer for best colour payoff and prevent creasing. These shadows stay for 7 to 8 hours with primer and 4 to 5 hours without primer after which it starts to fade. These shadows have minimum fall outs and kick back. This palette is a very close dupe of Sleek Acid palette. The shimmers are very soft and pigmented however some matte colors are a bit chalky, but it can be make workable by layering on a few times.Purple is the least pigmented eye shadow as u can see in the swatches also.I have numbered the eyeshadows from left to right for the purpose of explaining.

  1. Berry toned magenta (matte)
  2. White (matte)
  3. Neon green (matte)
  4. Neon Orange (matte)
  5. Cobalt blue (shimmer)
  6. Aqua blue (shimmer)
  7. Pinky purple (matte)
  8. Khaki Gree (matte)
  9. Neon pink (matte)
  10. Neon green (matte)
  11. Silver Grey (shimmer)
  12. Black (matte)

  • Affordable and Travel friendly
  • Good for beginners
  • Easily blendable
  • Easily available
  • Shimmers are pretty

  • Matte shades are a bit chalky
  • Staying power without primer is not good.
  • Packaging not comparable with high end brands.
  • Contains parabens
  • No mirror

Rating – 4/5

Overall it is a great buy for beginners who want to play with bold bright colors. It is a nice palette for the price. The shadows are not top quality but not bad either. The shadows are blendable and workable.

Thank you for reading.

Please let me know your thoughts about the palette in the comment section.

The Nature’s Co. Rosemary and Hibiscus Hair mask : Review

Hey everyone,

I am going to talk about a all natural hair mask from The Nature’s Co.The Nature’s Co is an Indian organic brand. Many of you have received their  products in subscription boxes. When a product is 100% natural I am very satisfied because it will certainly provides some benefits to me.You have to be consistent and steady when it comes to these products. It is enriched with all those ingredients which are believed to be beneficial to hair for centuries.

Price – 1395 for 140 grams .Buy here

Product Claims :

For Silky Shiny Hair Amla is a natural conditioner, gives shine to hairs. It stimulates hair follicles, prevents hair loss, premature graying & dandruff. Rosemary prevents thinning hair and hair loss. It fights against premature graying and can gradually darken existing gray hair. Hibiscus prevents hair loss, enhances hair growth, discourages split ends, thickens hair & prevents premature graying of hair. Methi prevents dandruff, hair fall, promotes hair growth. It tones up the hair and the hair becomes silky and shiny. Application – Apply before bath for 15-30 minutes, rinse of with water. Then wash your hair with a shampoo followed by a conditioner.

Key Ingredients: Amla Powder, Rosemary Powder, Hibiscus Powder,  Methi Powder.

My experience with The Nature,s Co. Rosemary & Hibiscus  hair mask

It comes in a plastic tub with a green cap.The packaging is fuss free and good quality. The hair mask is brown in colour. It is very easy to make this hair mask.I usually mix it with water to make a paste and then apply it for 15 minutes. It can also be mixed with curd .It smells and look exactly like heena powder (Mahendi) but the weird part is  that it does not contain Heena powder. But the smell is not as strong as Heena powder,it vanishes as you wash the hair mask. The smell is not bothering to me at all.It is quite easy to rinse off the hair pack.My biggest doubt with this pack was that since it is powder based when it will dry,its gonna be tough to remove it but surprisingly it rinsed off pretty easily.I have used this mask many times and I find that it makes my hair smooth and more manageable.I cannot comment on its hair fall claim because I need to use it regularly to comment on such claims. But what I like about it is that it makes my hair shiny and smooth. If you have dull and frizzy hair, you can try this out.It will definitely give some shine and smoothness to the hair.It has so many beneficial ingredients and it is 100% organic so it is gonna benefit in some way or the other. Amla (Indian Gooseberry),Rosemary,Hibiscus are proved to be beneficial for hair in many ways.

DSC03566Here is my list of Pros and Cons of the product.

  1. 100% organic
  2. Beneficial Ingredients
  3. Easy to rinse
  4. Makes hair smooth and manageable.
  5. Convenient packaging
  6. Easy to make

  1. Expensive
  2. Smell can be bothering for some.

Ratings : 4/5

Overall,it is great hair mask and if used regularly can do wonders to hair.It makes my hair smooth and more manageable. You can try it if you are in search of a good natural hair mask.

Hope you like the post. Thanks for reading.

Batistie Dry shampoo Fruity and cheeky cherry: Review

hey everyone,

Today I am going to talk about Batistie dry shampoo.Batistie is a UK brand it recently launched in India. It is my first ever dry shampoo and I am very excited to share it with you guys. There was no concept of dry shampoo in India couple of years ago.I remember Loreal Professionals dry shampoo on Ankita from Corallista,s blog. Then I came to know about dry shampoo. The concept is really helpful for girls who have oily scalp. It is a blessing for college going girls.

Lets start with the review .

Price : 299 for 30 grams. They come in different size variants.

DSC03551Product description :

Batiste Dry Shampoo is perfect to use between washes. A quick burst revitalizes hair & removes any excess grease. Hair feels gorgeously clean & fresh with added body & texture.

Ingredients: Butane, Isobutane, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Alcohol Denat, Parfum (Fragrance), Butylphenyl Methlypropronial, Linalool, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Cetrimonium ChlorideDSC03556

My thoughts about the Batistie dry shampoo

Batistie is famous for their dry shampoos so I was pretty confident about the product. It comes in cylindrical tin spray bottle. All the ingredients and instructions are mentioned at the back of the bottle. The packaging is very chic and cute.It looks really pretty on my dressing table. These come in variety of fragrances I picked fruity and cheeky cherry. The fragrance is very fresh and fruity. The fragrance is not too strong to bother any one.I love the smell. It is very affordable and a little goes a long way.The spray works fine to dispense the product.I purchased the smaller size variant which is very travel friendly. You can carry it in your purse and use when you want to add extra omph to your tresses. It is instructed to spray 30 cms away from hair and rub it so that the product absorbs all the grease.I have used it many times and I was very amazed with the results. It instantly freshens up the hair and give it some volume and texture. It is great for girls who have thin hair. The product easily get absorbs and all the white powder is gone in a couple of seconds of rubbing. It is good for those who are not advised to wash their hairs often due to dandruff or other scalp problems.I think it is a great product and it is a must have in every girl’s stack.I do not find any con in terms of performance but I think availability is an issue. These are available online and offline in some selected cities.DSC03555

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Brown : Review & Swatches

Hey everyone,

I love wearing brown kajal during day time and a brown kajal is staple in my vanity.I love how brown kajal defines eyes without making it too obvious.I am going to review Lakme eyeconic brown kajal. This is among those products which I have repurchsed. Indian market have a few brown kajals and it is a good affordable option.Lets begin with the review now.DSC03349

Price  Rs 250 for 0.35 grams.

Product description

  • 10 Hr.
  • No smudging.
  • Waterproof.
  • Dermatologically tested.

My thoughts about the product :

The kajal comes in a sleek black colored twist up pencil. The pencil and the cap both are black in color. It is travel friendly and very convenient to use.It is safe to carry it in purse. The cap perfectly fits the pencil. It comes in five different shades which is very impressive. It is cocoa brown kajal with a matte finish. It is very pigmented and smooth when applied. It works pretty well on both upper and lower lid.It does not smudge easily so if you want that smudged look, be quick. It is creamy and does not tug or pull on the lids. The staying power is good it stays for around 5 to 6 hours on the lower lashline and 3 to 4 hours on upper lid.It is waterproof. If you want to increase the longevity you can set it with a dark brown eye shadow. It is very affordable and easily available both online and offline. This is my second pencil, I love everything about it. Only con I think is that it does not live to the claim of 10 hours stay.I will definitely repurchase it once this gets over.

Rating :5/5DSC03348DSC03352

Overall,I really like this product and recommend everyone to buy it.

Thank you so much
