Review of Deyga Organics Rose and Mulethi skin brightening face pack

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog! I hope you all are good .Today I am here to share my thoughts about a face pack which I have been using from some time ,it is from the brand Deyga Organics. Deyga Organics is an Indian brand based in Tamil Nadu .It has variety of skincare ,haircare and baby care products. The most exciting about this brand is that it is chemical free, na tural, organic and hand crafted. I always love such brands and Deyga Organics has an impressive line of products. So lets continue with my thoughts and opinions about Rose and Mulethi face pack.

Product Description :

Made with powerful ingredients such as rose and mulethi, our natural face pack is the perfect way to rejuvenate dull, lifeless skin. It nourishes the skin using the power of natural ingredients and provides a healthy, bright glow. This face pack can also help even the skin tone and provide a nourished, soft, and supple feeling to the skin.

Price : 490 INR for 200 ml

My thoughts about Deyga Organics Rose and Mulethi face pack

Packaging : It comes in a outer plastic box with the brand name and a label with the note “Made with love Arthi Raghuram” which is a cute gesture. The actual product comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a steel lid. All the details about the product, ingredients, usage etc are clearly mentioned on the label. I think a little wooden spoon can be a great addition and useful too.

Texture and smell : The face pack is in powder from and it can be mixed with milk, rose water or any other liquid as per one’s own requirement. It contains crushed rose petals, oat meal and mulethi as the base ingredients. The powder is neither too coarse nor too fine .It has a perfect texture and when mixed with milk it turns little pinkish because of the rose petals. It has an earthy smell which is very subtle and even sensitive nose can tolerate . I like to mix it with milk and leave it to do magic on my skin for 15 to 20 minutes until it is not completely dry and rinse off with water rubbing in circular motions. It also acts a mild exfoliator which gives a brightening effect.

Performance on my skin : I have a dry skin and after using this religiously for 3 weeks every alternate days I can say my skin is loving this face pack. It does not overly dry my skin because it has skin cherishing essential oils and mulethi which is helpful in nourishing dry and flaky skin. Oatmeal gently removes dead skin resulting in a clear skin. The face pack does not suck moisture from skin which is great in my opinion. It gives a brighter and clean skin ,what else you need from a face pack. It makes my skin soft and provides beautiful glow. It is carefully formulated for dry skin and it does the job .I do not have spots or pigmentation on my skin so cannot comment on that claim but if you are searching for a natural, cruelty free ,chemical free face pack for dry skin this can be great choice.

I am really impressed with this face pack and will definitely try other products from their range. They have various products for different skin types. Moreover, I always say it is very important to establish a skincare routine and follow it regularly to maintain its effect and it is beneficial for the skin in the long run.

I hope you find this post useful. Please share your thoughts and queries in the comments

Thank you.

Disclaimer : Product was kindly send by the brand however my review is 100 percent honest.

The Ordinay Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 review

hey everyone,

Today I am going to share with you all my experience with a skincare product which I have been using for a long time.It is The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic acid.I have dry skin and normal thick moisturizers were not working for me so thought I should try this serum.I think by now everyone of us know about Hyaluronic acid and its benefits so I am not gonna discuss it here.I will share what I think about this product so lets begin.

Price : 5.99 GBP for 30 ml from Cult beauty ( Not available in India)

Product description:
Featuring three types of hyaluronic acid (at low, medium and high molecular weights) this lightweight serum offers serious skin smoothing – at a surprisingly small price. Penetrating the skin to reach its deeper layers, The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 delivers lasting hydration and offers visible plumping and moisture retention so that skin looks smoother, softer and healthier. The hyaluronic acid at the centre of this super serum attracts up to 1000 times its weight in water, while a brilliant boost of vitamin B5 heals dry and damaged areas by stabilising the skin’s barrier function and promoting the growth of stronger tissue.

My thoughts about the product

It comes in a clear glass bottle with a dropper. The packaging is very basic but it is sturdy and good quality. The outer packaging is also very basic in a white cardboard box with all the details, description and price of the product. The actual product is transparent and has a thick consistency. It is feels tacky if applied too much .It is not water or gel,it is something in between. It is a water based serum and it is supposed to be used before any thick cream or oil based serum. The Ordinary states that only a little amount has to be used so I use only 2 or 3 drops and spread it on my face and neck after toner. It spreads easily and because it is water based it absorbs quickly into the skin.It is light weight and absorbs after massaging for a couple of seconds. The skin instantly feels hydrated and plump.I have dry skin with some dry patches here and there and I have to say that this serum really helps to heal my dry patches. This serum is not meant to be used alone. It should be followed by a moisturizer.I use to apply The Ordinary’s Natural Moisturising factor after applying this.I started using this product six months ago and I am on my second bottle.I actually love this serum. After using one and a half bottle of this serum I can say this serum really helps to heal my dry skin.I started seeing difference in my skin after using one week and still enjoying this product.Since The Ordinary is based on layering products so this serum alone will not be able to give desired results. It is very important to apply a moisturizer after this serum.I absolutely love the combo of Hyaluronic acid 2% and Natural moisturising factors. These two have been my saviors for my skin.I do not have dry patches on my skin now.I have tried it with other moisturizers and it works fine .

It is also very important to follow a routine regularly to see visible differences to the skin.I do not have anything bad to say about this product. It is affordable and little goes a long way.It should be kept in mind that only few drops are required and a moisturizer after it is a must. The only con is it is not available in India but you can check Cult beauty to get International shipping promotion.I purchased it from Cult beauty and was not charged any custom as the total bill was very low.I got it during International shipping free offer.

I hope you find it useful .

Thank you.

My current Eye Care routine using Juicy chemistry

Hi everyone ,

Today I am going to talk about another skincare brand. We all love organic and pure skincare and juicy chemistry is among India’s emerging organic brand.I have also reviewed there products earlier and enjoyed using them. I was searching for affordable yet chemical free under eye products and decided to give these a try. These products are free from chemical and have no preservatives. Currently Juicy chemistry have three products under their eye Care range.I picked all of them. These products are :

1. Sweet Orange and Chamomile soothing eye mist – This is an eye mist and it is supposed to be sprayed on eyes directly or applied on a cotton pad and keep for 10 to 15 minutes. It is a wonderful blend for various hydrating ingredients . I find it very hydrating and an extra boost for my under eye skin.It is an extra step and I feel it can be used when you want to pamper your eyes a little bit more.I like to keep it for 10 min and it makes the delicate under eye area more awake and reduces puffiness.img_20181102_1423212966445011057533847.jpg

2. Prickly pear and Tamanu serum – This serum is to be used in the morning after toner.lt has a oil like consistency but it is very light weight and absorbs very quickly. It has a strong smell like all essential oils have but it does not stay for long time.It is meant for under eye wrinkles and fine lines.I have not noticed any major difference in my fine lines but it is packed with anti oxidants which are beneficial for our skin.img_20181102_1423461988179892837717439.jpg

3. Coffee and Green tea under eye cream. It is an eye cream and it is required to be used at night. It has the goodness of green tea which is an excellent anti oxidant and coffee infused almond oil .This cream is yellow in color and it has a liquid consistency. It comes in a jar which is not a good packaging for such a product .It is like a blend of oil and butter and melts in hot climate. You can refrigerate it to maintain the cream texture but it melts very easily. So be careful while opening it.I do not have major under eye circles so cannot comment on that but it is very good moisturiser for under eye.It has a strong smell like all JC products have. Only a small amount of product is needed to cover the eye area.img_20181102_152931_70419129902310408064.jpg

I am using these products for one month . I will say I wanted something extra for my under eye skin because I have the most fine lines under my eyes. I wanted to be extra cautious so that the situation does not get worse. I want to control it from an early age . I love these products .These are natural and chemical free and these are not gonna harm your under eye skin in any way. I cannot guarantee reduction in under eye circles . But I feel some difference in my fine lines but very minor .I am hoping that continuous use of these products will help my fine lines to fade or at least control new lines to form.

So I would like to say that we all must include something for our under eyes because the under eye skin is the most sensitive and need special care .JC is a good option if you want chemical, mineral oil and preservatives free product at reasonable prices.

Forest essentials rose water facial toner review

DSC04739hello everybody,

how are you all? I am really sorry for the lack of posts as I was engage in some other things in my life but I have various posts in my mind. I hope I am able to follow my plans.Anyways, today I present you  a product which is from a luxury ayurveda brand. This brand is praised by various people and it is very expensive .So I was in search of natural toner which is free from alcohol, parabens and mineral oil and this grabbed my attention.I really enjoyed my Lotus Herbals Rose tone but it has parabens so I decided to try some other product. This is a natural steam distilled rose water from Forest essentials.I am very excited to try any thing from this brand because I have heard so many good things about it.I have finished 70% of the bottle and I am ready with my thoughts.Lets begin.

Product Claims:

Our pure and active water-based toners are made from floral, fruit and herbal extracts essential to the Ayurvedic philosophy; to hydrate, tone and revive the skin.

The freshest flowers of the voluptuous Rose is steam distilled for its pure essential oils and the hydrating floral water residue is used for the intensely hydrating Facial Toner.

Price: Rs 350 for 50 ml

My thoughts about Forest Essential Rosewater facial toner

The toner comes in a dark blue plastic  bottle with a spray nozzle and transparent cap to cover the nozzle. The product looks luxurious and packaging is elegant. The spray even distribute the toner on the face with 3 to 4 sprays.I love spray toners they are very convenient to apply and when you need to refresh your face. The toner is transparent in color. The toner smells very pleasant not very strong or artificial. It smells like roses obviously .I do not have any issue with the smell of the toner .I think everyone will love the smell. But the negative thing about   the nozzle is that it stops working when the product was 30 percent left,it made me really sad.It made it very inconvenient to use  the product.

Rose water is said to reduce the pores, balance the ph level of the skin, anti aging and many other skin benefits.I think this toner helped to balance the ph level of my skin and moreover when I feel my face is looking  a bit dull and oily it instantly freshens it up.It shrinks my pores and provide a boost of moisture.I really enjoy using this product.I spray twice or thrice this on my face to freshen up my face.I am loving the effect of this on my skin.It is very important to include a toner in your skin care routine,I highly suggest everyone to include an alcohol free toner ,it really makes a difference.

Overall I really love this product.I am also planning to buy some other products from forest essential. It is doing great for my dry skin and I am happy to purchase it.I highly recommend it.It is on the costly side but there are various other affordable options available in the market.

I hope you enjoy the post

Thank you

Review of Sivanna Colors Cheek and Contour Palette

The palette comes in a black cardboard packaging with a see through upper portion and the back portion has all the ingredients and details of company. The actual product is housed in sturdy black plastic case,it a transparent lid and at the back the shade number is written. It is travel friendly .It comes in four different shades. The palette has four pans two of them are blushers, one is contour and one is compact ,it is written glow on the pan but it is matte so I use it to set my under eye area and all the concealed areas. All the four shades are matte .I find that the contour shade is a little dark for me so make it workable I use a very light hand on the pan so that I get the least color. The blushes are matte pink and matte peach. All the colors are smooth and pigmented they are not chalky what so ever. They last for 6 hours on me which is decent amount of time.I wish that the highlight shade had some shimmers. The only drawback I think is that it does not have a proper highlight shade. The thing which I love about it is that it is travel friendly and one palette caters to the requirements of blush, contour and compact (for me) highlight for no one I think.

Rating : 4/5 ( one mark less for no good highlight )

Conclusion : I like this Sivanna cheek and contour  palette because it is affordable and decent quality. This is my first face palette and I highly recommend this to those who are on a budget or makeup lovers who love to test new makeup. But before buying see properly  that the contour shade is matching your skintone, enquire from seller thoroughly then only place order.

Thank you so much for reading

Bye

Skin care tips for Dry skin with product recommendation

We all dream of a healthy and perfect skin.It is very important to know your skin type and taking care of skin accordingly. We all can  have that perfect glowing skin with proper care and choosing right products.Today I am going to share some simple rules to take care of dry skin.Dry skin is  an uncomfortable skin condition marked by itching ,scaling and cracking. I also have dry skin and with years of trial and error I have found some ways to deal with it.It is very important to stick to the routine and make it a habit. So,with continuous efforts  you can beat those stubborn dry patches.

Given below are the golden rules to take care of dry skin with product recommendation :

  1. Cleansing : It is very important to wash your face twice  a day.Always read the ingredients before purchasing any face wash or cleanser.Ingredients like Soduim Laurel Sulphte and sodium laurel ethel sulphates are actually detergent and foaming agents which make the skin more drier.Choose a soap free cleanser or a mild face wash which does not lather much.

Product recommendations

  1. Himalaya aloe and cucumber face wash  Buy here – This my HG cleanser and I have used two tubes of this. Love it.
  2. Kama Ayurveda Rose and Jaismine face cleanser  Buy here
  3. Just herbs Neem and Orange Hydrant face wash Buy here
  4. Juicy Chemistry Ylang Ylang and Lavender Daily cleanser Buy here

2. Tone your dry patches – Toning is the most important and often neglected part of skin care routine.Choose an alcohol free toner.Toner helps in soothing dry patches and repair them with continuous use.Tone your skin twice a day. So,do not forget to include a toner in your skin care routine.

Product recommendation :

  1. Lotus Herbals Rosetone .( My HG toner, finished two bottles of this) Buy here
  2. Kronokare Flower power toner Buy here
  3. Kama Ayurveda Rose water

3. Serum or facial oil – Use a facial serum or essential oil just after toning.Sometime skin need more moisture and serum or oils penetrate deep into the skin and give much needed moisture.A beauty blogger suggested me to use facial oil for my dry patches and it really works.A big thanks to her.I use serum at night only.

Product recommendation:

  1. Juicy Chemistry Cell Construction Serum .Buy here
  2. Juicy Chemistry Argan oil. Buy here
  3. The Body Shop Drops of youth ( Got a sample in my MSM box..its awesome) Buy here

4.Moisturiser – Use a moisturiser which is free from mineral oil.Mineral oil is dangerous for our skin and damage the skin with continuous use.Moisturisers are very part of skincare. If the skin is dry you need a moisturiser which is  a bit heavy and absorbs at the same time. The moisturiser should be free from artificial color and fragrance. I recommend to apply moisturiser after spraying a little toner,it helps the cream penetrate deep into the skin and absorbs better.

Product recommendation:

1.Blossom kochhar Almond Nourishing Cream  Buy here

2. The body shop 24 hours Vitamin E cream Buy here

3.Parasoft cream for dry skin.(This was recommended to me by a dermatologist,it is amazing for very dry skin) Buy here

5.Scrub – Use a cream based scrub with fine exfoliating particles. Very chunky exfoliating particles will irritate the delicate dry skin.Using a cream based exfoliator is important because cream  base will hydrate the skin and prevent it from getting strechy or drier after exfoliation. Scrub your face twice a week.

Product recommendation :

  1. Johara Instant Radiance face scrub Buy here
  2. Everyuth walnut face scrub Buy here
  3. Kama Ayurveda kumkumadi Brightening facial scrub Buy here

6. Face pack – Face packs provides nourishment to the skin .If you have dry skin avoid using clay based masks instead use a gel or cream based face masks .Clay based masks will suck all the moisture and make it more drier. If you are using clay based mask keep it for shorter duration on the skin to prevent moisture loss. The latest trend Sheet masks also work wonders for dry skin. Use  face mask once a week.

Product recommendations :

  1. Innisfree Sheet masks Buy here
  2. Natural Bath and body Grapefuit and Vitamin C face mask.
  3. Biotique Bio Fruit Flawless Whitening and Depigmentation face mask. Buy here

So,these are tips which I follow to take of my dry skin. The products mentioned above are used by me and they suit me well. However, before trying any product do a patch test or consult your dermatologist.
